Just a quick note to say thank you again for a successful 2012 summer season. I know the kids enjoyed running the market and I sure hope you enjoyed stopping by.
Look for them to be home during the Winter Break offering fresh, local Christmas Trees!
In case you haven’t driven by since our season ended, Karen’s Krunch has moved into the store to use both as a production facility and retail outlet during the fall. Karen is offering her amazing snack products along with local pumpkins, mums, and corn stalks.
Karen’s hours through the end of the year are:
Friday – 12-7
Be sure and stop by, say hello, and sample Karen’s delicious snacks.
Saturday and Sunday – October 20th and 21st – Linglestown Merchants Association Fall Festival with Food, Fun, and Music. Be sure and see us at Murphy’s Automotive off the square. Tri-tip’s and Soup all around!
Local Christmas Trees go on sale the day after Thanksgiving – Stay tuned! (Karen is giving out a FREE bag of krunch for every tree sold.)

Hope everyone enjoyed their middle of the week July 4th holiday! I'm just back from visiting our Lebanon County farms and managed to bring in some more of those AWESOME local tomatoes, fresh and natural sunflowers, ($3.99/bunch if you can believe that!), and some really nice looking onions.
If you haven't yet tried Apple Valley's all natural milk in glass bottles please give yourself a treat. Remember, we're only open 48 days a year....(late May to late August) Treat yourself and your family to the best Pennsylvania has to offer during this time.

May 24th Update
We've got lots of local fresh goodies ready for you.....from local cajun crab dip to our own home-made apple pies, Carla's Fresh banana bread (made at the store), and delicious tri-tip roasts, sandwiches and more.
Apple Valley Dairy is back with their unbelievable strawberry milk and some incredible high-end ice cream. (The chocolate milk is equally delicious and we have raw mile as well)
We also have sausages from Groffs Meats...hot and sweet italian and an extra special treat....smoked pulled pork with strawberry bbq sauce. (invented by yours truly and smoked onsite here at the market!)
I'm heading out to some of our farms early tomorrow morning to see what other local goodies we can bring in ..... like watermelon, local tomatoes, and maybe, just maybe some more delicious strawberries.
Come on down, relax, have a sandwich off the grill with a Kutztown soda and pick up some treats for the weekend.
